Baar, April 15, 2008 – The PROMIS Group of Europe, Agilense of North
America and Inspired of South Africa & UK today announced their
agreement on the creation of a strategic joint venture which brings
innovative new capabilities to the Enterprise Architecture and Business
Process space. The rapid delivery of integrated strategy, enterprise
architecture, process improvement and managed implementation is a
potential industry first. This means reaching another milestone as the
companies aim to provide the best complete solution offering for
Sustainable Enterprise Architecture globally.

The decision to form the joint venture took place following several months of due-diligence on all sides, evaluating various options and a first round investment for strategic development by the founding members of the PROMIS Group. The entity is already operating as an alliance between the three organizations. Formalising the joint venture, to be headquartered in Switzerland, is proceeding rapidly. "All companies are profitable and have generated organic growth. We do not necessarily need external funding to put this together, but we may involve investors to accelerate the merger and to allow us to roll out capabilities and visionary product across the whole market more rapidly" said Mike Ater, COO of Agilense and an officer of the new venture. “Potential investors who share the vision and have a desire to participate in this innovative venture are welcome to get in touch with us”.
PROMIS Group will first present this exciting news during the RedHerring EMEA Top100 Conference in Malta, taking place from the 14th until the 16th of April 2008, where it had been shortlisted already before this announcement to present its ideas about the future development.
