We are working on a short and easy to follow tutorial for EVA Netmodeler. It will be published next week in the Resources section and an html version will be available on the website, as well.

Anyone having questions on EVA Netmodeler feel free to ask them here. If you need to know details about the features, supported standards and more the PROMIS Forum administrators can help you.

Is IE8 compatible with EVA version 7.6.2? We have the a XP SP3/IE8 client who is unable to run the graphical modeler function.

On his box we installed the D3055x8068x3044xD3055x8873x3044xSqueakPluginInstaller.exe (from the server \Program Files\EVANetmodeler\Application\Archi\Export folder) because IE8 refuses to install the unsigned plugin plus the user has no administrative right. When running the graphical modeler all we see is the squeakland.org mice window with Loading project... but the project never loads.

Yes, Internet Explorer 8 is compatible with this version of EVA.
If you run the Graphical Modeler you have to confirm that the ActiveX-control is allowed to run.
You should download and install this plugin: http://pro-mis.com/tl_files/downloads/SqueakPluginInstaller.zip
If you are still having problems to run the Graphical Modeler in IE 8 please send us a support request with more details about the errors you get.

I assume (based on general ignorance and forgetfulness) that high and low tides are generally steady in their respective levels and that their absolute levels are cyclical, based on lunar position.
